EP 28 | Pitching Your Work, Working With Clients, Photography At University, & More w. Photographer Chris Gurney
If your wanting to learn how to use photo galleries for clients your in luck!
Today i’m stoked to be sharing a conversation I had about 4 months ago with the super talented photographer Chris Gurney. There are two things I can say about Chris from living in the same city as him. Firstly, anyone who knows or has met him will talk about how he is the nicest bloke ever. Secondly that his skills behind the camera are incredible. Because of his talent Chris’s work has been published on the front cover of numerous surf publications like Stab, Monster Children, and Riptide just to name a few. He has also worked on a number of projects one being shooting stills for John John florence’s 2015 surf film View From A Blue Moon.
On this episode Chris talks about study vs working in the field, what it’s like to shoot in a big budget surf film, his thoughts on studying photography at university, advice that he would give photographers and creatives starting out today as well as so much more.
