EP 39 | Editorials, Storytelling, Near Death Experiences & Much More w. Photographer Austin Siadak
In today’s episode I’ll be chatting with the incredibly talented climbing photographer Austin Siadak.
If you are someone who is at all interested in climbing photography or feel as though you have seen some pretty incredible climbing images in the past you have probably come across some of Austin’s work before.
Because of Austin’s talent for both climbing and photography he is able to position himself in places where not many others could with a camera. This along with his unique ability in documenting big wall climbs has lead his work to be featured in numerous editorial publications and be a regular contributor to international brand Patagonia.
On this episode Austin Siadak talks about how he goes about storytelling and shooting for editorials, how important it is to find a niche within an area you love, his creative process, how working with athletes like tommy caudwell and alex honnold have impacted his work and life, stories of near death experiences while climbing as so much more.
